Liquidity on GOJO is provided through individual GOJO pools. Liquidity providers earn fees from leverage trading, borrowing fees and swaps.
Overview
A GOJO pool (GOJO Market pool) consists of:
- Index Price Feed:
The Index Price Feed constantly monitoring the market, dictating when long and short positions open and close. It's the lifeblood of the pool, ensuring fair and accurate trades. Long and short tokens will be opened/closed based on this price feed (more detail at )
- Long Token:
The Long Token is the foundation for securing long positions, backed by a complex web of mechanisms that guarantee stability and empower you to hold your ground.
- Short Token:
The Short Token balances the Long Token. It's the cornerstone for short positions, meticulously woven with assets to create a comprehensive hedging strategy. It allows you to capitalize on market downturns.
For example:
A market could be STRK/USD [STRK-USDC], in this case:
- Index Price Feed: STRK/USD
- Long Token: STRK tokens back long positions
- Short Token: USDC tokens back short positions
SPECIALIZED MARKET
If a market is labeled as SWAP-ONLY or SPOT-ONLY, then the market only supports swaps and does not support leverage trading.
